• The Woodford State Bank was founded November 10, 1915.
  
• C.O. Gilmore was instrumental in getting a charter and served as the first president.
  
• In 1984, Woodford State Bank Monroe location was opened on Highway 11.
  
• In 1998, the Monroe branch moved to its current location at 403 West 8th Street.
  
• The Argyle branch opened in 1999 and in January 2004 relocated to it new location at 101 Spruce Street.
  
• The South Wayne branch opened in 2001.
